Whats a good plugin for hosting videos?

I'm wanting to put some videos on a site without using YouTube. Can anyone recommend a good plugin that will let me upload a video to my site and have a good player for my visitors?

If you want a plugin for video uploading, I guess you don't need anything if you are running WordPress, because you can upload videos during post creation/edition very easily. But if you want a plugin for video hosting on some video hosting site, so you need some third plugin to upload videos to YouTube or Vimeo, but I don't use such plugins, so I don't know them.

I use proplayer plugin for wordpress. Unfortunateley this plugin has been discontinued but I am still using the one I have downloaded years ago.
