How can I get my message to Admin Assistants?

I am helping a client who sells Promotional Products (anything you can think of with an imprinted logo).  Our avatar is a busy admin assistant who just wants an easy way to get something ordered for a trade show, conference, or the like.

Other than Google PPC, what would be a good way to get our message in front of Administrative Assistants / Secretaries?

Maybe run an ad in a newsletter or other publication that caters to them. And target local trade newspapers in those areas where most of your client's customers come from. Even they sometimes like to relax while reading such things on the weekend.Forum posts with signatures can get your pitch in front of them. Think of what media they would see way before those trade shows where you could step in front of them. A very diverse group are admins and secretaries. PR news releases into trade publications seems to reach these kinds of folks well.

Have you tried Facebook? Think about the demographics of your avatar. For example, most secretaries are probably women. So when you are advertising on Facebook, you will try to target women.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the industry you are in. Therefore, I can't provide you with any more ideas. You probably know them better and can think of other demographics information. So you can just advertise accordingly.
