Hi guys,

I really confused with those namejet domains.. If I bid on such domains will they save their age? (like godaddy expired auctions)

The answer is yes. So long as domains don't fall back into the unregistered pool (i.e. no one, no company has ownership of it), then a domain will retain its age as long as it passes from one owner to another.

if the domain expires and nobody renews it it can be re-registered as a fresh domain if someone picks it up again in future and in this case the age will be reset to zero.

Thank you very much for sharing the idea. I have 2 blogs which I sold in 2010. Then in December of 2013, I noticed that the blog is no longer available and the domain name is not renewed, and this February of 2014, I noticed that the domain is now for sale.

Does the age of the domain remain after few months of not being renewed?

Aged domain has a heavy value in search engine as this domain has already built its authority and backlinks. Just secure that the previous owner didn't put a spammy backlinks on it.
