I was doing some research today and came upon a website that on first site you will think it is Facebook. I immediately joined. Thought I should share it here on this forum.

Previously, we had, but it doesn't exist now - it was shut down in 2011. Now, I prefer to focus my social network efforts on Twitter, Facebook and Google+. My next steps will be Tumblr, FriendFeed and, maybe, myLot.

I'm not sure if it's good to focus on SocialBook for marketing purposes. It looks like just a Facebook plagiarized. That's all.

Gplus is absolutely the second best option. Also, you will have some advantage in the eye of Google if your site connects to a Gplus account.

You are unlikely to get far by using a site that is simply a rip-of of another site as your example is. A successful site will have its own style and appearance - after all, why would anyone choose to use an inferior copy?

If you are in Brasil and your market is Brasilians though I'd look for social sites that cover that market with an original view, that offer something that makes the site stand out from the crowd in some way. You need an audience, the job of the social site is to provide that audience.

I think this site: Yovia  might also be effective for passing on your links and profile. Moreover you get rewarded for being an influencer there. And they also have Gplus profile.
